After a search for an addition to our family, Sophie united us with Gary, the Maltese mix. In an instant we have seen quite a change in this dog since he’s been in our home. He is a delight! We know that our lives have been enriched to get him, and thanks to Sophie, Gary has a chance to grow old and be loved. We renamed him Scooby Doo. He likes the change. We are very grateful to Sophie and her organization. GB

Hi Sophie,

I am a student living alone in Downtown Montreal, in a big apartment. I have a lot of spare time as for my classes are only twice a week. I have had a lot of experience with dogs. I have had a dog since I was 12 years old for 6 years. I am a dog lover and would love to foster a puppy! Preferably a young puppy.

hi sophie..just a note to say bless u and your loving work. saw petfinder adoption from your rescue & must write to thank u and the adopter of older dog after 1yr in rescue! i am a foster mom w/22 critters adopted from my home so as we know..it is one critter at a time, think of your 500 & my 22, so we do good work one at a time..my last rescue i pulled from high kill municipal shelter 9yr old BLIND lhasa who had been so neglected it was abuse..my rescue group had more calls on him than any of my 22!! such good people out there..he now lives w/RN mom 12yr old boy who loves him beyond measure, sister & dad..a wonderful home!!thats why we do this..do u think people know enough about fostering? i have a flyer i would be glad to send u if u can post (teacher lounges/petstores/ libraries/ markets) rescue groups pay all vet care which i cannot afford, but people dont know of this option, particularly for seniors on fixed income…they can have companionship but no expense..WIN WIN..i worked for PANAM over 30yrs & when she went bankrupt 15yrs ago, i was financially devastated, BUT i have done more w/my life in this time WITHOUT MONEY, than ever before, so i am proof fostering works!!(also foster mom to 14 children ..it is possible!!) no reply necessary if u dont have time..just wanted to say thank u to youboth!!!

Hi Sophie,
Congratulations on your website, it looks great.
I have seen you on TV a while ago and am impressed with your work. I am a true animal lover as well and wish I could do more for them. I was wondering if you have a pet shelter and if so, where? Can we come see the dogs you rescue? Let me know how it works as I am interested in the cause.
